Avoid harsh shadows and overhead fluorescent lights. Natural daylight near a window gives the cleanest colors and sharpest detail.

Capture multiple angles

You can upload up to 5 photos per scan. More angles = stronger evidence. Include:

Full product shot
Close-up of labels, tags, or branding
Stitching, materials, hardware
Serial numbers or SKU codes
Packaging or authentication cards (if included)

Add product context

Fill in brand, model, SKU, and purchase source. Richer metadata cross-checks with the visual evidence and raises your confidence score.

Keep images sharp and focused

Blurry or heavily compressed images reduce our forensic accuracy. Shoot at your camera's native resolution and avoid aggressive filters.

Understanding Your Results

High Confidence

85%+ confidence. Strong forensic evidence supports authenticity. No further action needed.

Moderate Confidence

65–84% confidence. Evidence is good but not definitive. Upload more photos for stronger results.

Low Confidence

45–64% confidence. Mixed or incomplete signals. Queued for expert review, results emailed within 24–36 hours.

Inconclusive

Below 45%. Insufficient signals. Expert review required with possible request for additional photos.

Batch Scanning

Authenticate multiple items in a single session. Upload files one by one or in bulk — the system processes each item independently with full confidence scoring, web provenance, and certificate generation. You control the concurrency (1–10 items at a time) and track progress in real time.

How to connect: Navigate to /batch from your dashboard. Sign in with your Pro account, then upload your files. Each item receives its own request ID and result — you can download certificates individually or review all results on one page.

API Access

Integrate authentication directly into your own applications, workflows, or inventory systems. The API accepts the same file uploads and product context as the web interface and returns structured JSON responses with confidence scores, directives, and certificate IDs.

How to connect:

Sign in to your Pro account on the web at approvalwhisper.com.
Generate a token by sending a POST request to /api/auth/api-token while signed in. The response contains your bearer token and usage instructions.
Use the token in your requests: Authorization: Bearer <your-token>
Submit scans via POST /api/voice with multipart form data containing your images and product context. The response includes confidence scores, directives, certificate IDs, and web provenance data — structured JSON ready for programmatic consumption.

Deep Analysis & Platform Health

Every Pro scan runs additional forensic checks that cross-reference your evidence layers for consistency, detect adversarial patterns, and assess whether the submitted files contain anomalies. You also see a platform health indicator showing how reliable the analysis is for your specific product category — based on historical accuracy and expert review agreement rates.

How it works:Deep analysis runs automatically on every Pro scan. The results appear in a “Deep Analysis” section below your scan result, alongside a color-coded health badge (green, yellow, or orange) showing the current reliability for that product type.

Scan Pack Add-Ons

If you hit your 300-scan monthly limit, you can purchase additional scans instantly. Each Scan Pack adds 500 scans to your current month for a one-time fee of $99. Unused pack scans reset at the start of each billing month.

How to purchase:When you reach your limit, a purchase button appears on the scan page. Click it to complete a secure checkout, and your extra scans are credited immediately — no waiting, no support ticket required.
