1. Service Overview

ApprovalWhisper (“we”, “us”) provides AI-powered product authentication as a service. By uploading images or descriptions, you receive a confidence score, forensic analysis, and a cryptographic authentication certificate.

2. Not Legal or Expert Certification

Our analysis is informational only. A “High Confidence” result does not constitute a legal, financial, or professional appraisal. Do not rely solely on our assessment for resale, insurance, or legal disputes. For high-value items, seek a certified appraiser.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) upload content that infringes copyright or contains malware, (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or bypass our rate limits, (c) scrape or resell our output, (d) impersonate brands or third parties, (e) use the service to facilitate counterfeit sales. 3a. Prohibited Content & Legal Reporting

ApprovalWhisper uses automated content safety scanning on every upload. We strictly prohibit any content that is illegal under US or international law, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate imagery, malware, and content depicting imminent threats of violence. Uploads that match these categories are blocked, preserved as evidence, and reported to the appropriate authorities (including NCMEC CyberTipline as required by 18 USC § 2258A). Users who upload such content will have their accounts permanently terminated and may face criminal prosecution. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through your account portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. Chargebacks will result in immediate account suspension.

5. Rate Limits and Fair Use

Free tier: 3 scans/month. Consumer: 60 scans/month. Pro: 300 scans/month. Excessive automated requests may be throttled or blocked. Enterprise licensing is available for high-volume use cases.

6. Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
